Milaeger's main store in Racine, Wisconsin is the original location where Dan and Joan Milaeger first started their business. It is also the site of the Patricia Breen Event each year. |
Milaeger's second location in Sturtevant, Wisconsin went through a large renovation last year when the new entrance/atrium and green house were added. Patricia Breen Ornaments may also be purchased at this location. |
Dan & Joan are the founders of Milaeger?s and currently are retired but you'll see them at all the events. |
Kris (Milaeger) Reisdorf is the current owner of Milaeger's along with her brother Kevin. Anyone well acquainted with Kris know that she is thinking about Christmas all year 'round. Her love of Christmas goes far beyond mere appreciation. Her responsibilities as buyer for all of the Milaeger's Christmas fare requires that she understand every product they offer, each in minute detail. Her expectation of high quality is what drew her to Patricia Breen's ornaments. She saw extraordinarily made ornaments that she knew the customers would appreciate. It has become a tradition for Milaeger's to commission Patricia to design an ornament that will honor a person important to the Kris and the Milaeger family. |
Kara (Reisdorf) Kading - Kris' daughter, is the assistant buyer for Milaeger's and in spring and summer is the Annual Lot Manager. Not only do those duties keep Kara busy but she helps to coordinate the Patricia Breen Events with Kris and Elaine each year. |

Either that huge box filled with Patricia Breen Ornaments straight from Poland has legs or it's Milaeger's shipping and receiving employee Sandy, working very hard. |
Sandy and Kelly check the invoices making sure all the Breen Ornaments are accounted for and check for broken onaments. Think they might be looking for a variant too ??? That's the best part of collecting Breen's !! Then Kelly fills the orders that are placed by Breen Collectors and ships them all over the US. It has to be hard to part with all those great ornaments. |
If you make it into the store to pick up your Breen Ornament order, Annette will happily take your credit card, cash, or check and ring up the sale. |
New 2006 Breen ornaments that are available to order but not currently in the store are located on the top shelves of this curio cabinet. The lower section is filled with many different types of finials offered by Patricia Breen. |
Milaeger's is one of Patricia Breen's largest and oldest retailers. You can see by the huge selection of Breen's any new collector would have many great choices and hard decisions to make when decorating their Christmas Tree for the holidays. |
Notice the end cap of this unit filled with Breen Halloween Ornaments. They even carry the scary trees to hang the ornaments on. |
