Dear Friends of Bob, Rich and The Historical Christmas Barn,
I?m writing to tell you that I shared the sadness (devastation) that you felt when you heard that Bob and Rich were selling the Christmas Barn. When my husband, Gary, happened upon its ?availability? and confirmed that it was indeed ?Our? Christmas Barn for sale, I felt an immediate physical ache. His next question changed that sinking feeling into what has become a dream-come-true for me and one that I hope you will share with us in the years to come.
My family and I have been customers of the Christmas Barn for over 10 years ? not as long as some of you - but we, too, made it a part of our family. It wasn?t only about the wonderful ?stuff? but rather, about the way we felt when we came to the Christmas Barn: the feeling of being embraced in the spirit of Christmas that is too often felt only once a year.
Gary and I will never truly fill the shoes of Bob and Rich. Their generous spirit and genuine hospitality always impressed me as a customer, but now even more so, as we?ve had the opportunity to get to know them better. We too will miss them greatly but, as we carry on the tradition of The Historical Christmas Barn, they will serve as our inspiration. I hope that you will continue to feel welcomed and valued in what I have excitedly and optimistically begun to call ?The Next Chapter.?
Please come in and introduce yourselves to us because Bob, Rich and ?The Team? (as we fondly call them) have mentioned many of you by name. We look forward to meeting you.
P.S. I have only recently begun to fully discover Patricia Breen myself and am going to need you all to bring me up to speed as we anticipate her next creations!
