Christmas 2010 at Marsha's Vineyard - Part 2
Year: 2010 Holiday: Christmas Shared by: marshavnyd
This is the first year for our flocked white twig tree, Jim's tree. It's very handsome even without ornies, looking like it just came out of a snowy forest. It's covered with black Breens and a very few non-Breens. It is enhanced with Breen and Crate and Barrel garlands.
We hope you enjoy the tour!

| If someone had told us 20 years ago that we would have a collection of black ornaments we would have laughed! |
| Can you spot the interlopers? |
| How about here? |
| There are so many beautiful red and gold pieces that I decided a few years ago to showcase some on this gold twig tree. This is the first year it's been in the dining room, but it may be here again next year. Guests love to be able to get up close and personal with Patricia's intricate designs. |
| I love the richness of the red and gold pieces with a few green highlights. Only one interloper here. |
| On the way to the kitchen is perhaps my favorite small tree. I love the elegance of the 'vintage' peacock pieces so mixed them with the 'vintage' platinum pieces. Yummy! |
| I was so excited to see the peacock eggs this year. They really helped round out the tree. Only one interloper here. |
| The 2009 gingerbread pieces completed this tree nicely. It's a good thing as they were few and far between in 2010. |
| My rotating gingerbread tree is a favorite with our guests. It just makes sense to have it in the kitchen. |
| The very last tree and no Breens in site. These are All About Christmas felt mice. They were collectibles in the 80's - 90's and after being featured by NM, they went out of business. What a shame! |
| The mouse tree is in the tv room and we love it. It seems apropos since that is a Flying Nun mouse near the top right near the Yoga mouse and above Casanova mouse. |
| There were so many great themes, like the Three Wise Men, Dorothy with Toto and her three sidekicks, the Hawaiian mice. Wish I'd been able to get them all. |
