Here are some photos of my newest display--a summertime fruit tree. This is the cherry blossom tree that I made last year with my fruit theme ornaments on it--strawberries, cherries, peaches and a couple of apple ones too. I'll admit I had a bit of trouble getting this tree to look how I wanted. The cherry blossom tree by itself looks very "spring-y" and I wanted it to look more "summer-y." The first bow I made was too pale and washed out looking so I needed to remake that. The white base of the tree was also too plain looking sitting on the white mat and I went through a couple of attempts on how to fix that. But finally, after a bit of trial and error, it all came together for me and I'm very pleased with it now. I think it looks elegant yet summer-y and the fruit ornaments really show off well nestled among the flowers. Pam A.

The shaded pink and green bows really pop on the tree and bring out the colors in the ornaments. The pink and green remind me a little of watermelon!

The "tree skirt" is two different colors and sizes of silk hydrangea leaves that I had left over from a flower arranging project. They're just layered around the base.

Here is what the tree looked like on my first attempt--as you can see it clearly needed to be changed--the new ribbon and base treatment really made all the difference!
