A Few of My Favorite Things
Year: 2008 Holiday: Christmas Shared by: Breenbaubles
In addition to the large Breen tree this year, I did several new smaller Breen displays to highlight some of my favorite themes for the year. I really enjoyed looking at these every day during the holiday season and thought you might like to see them as well. Pam A.

| The main Breen tree is a Milaeger's 10' slim in an EZ rotating stand. The front of the tree has all the red & green ornaments. |
| The back of the tree has all the blue & a few black ornaments. Although you probably can't see them, the three white snowy garlands here have on them my collection of all the Studio Gift Balls over the years and this year's gift Petite Tetes. |
| The mistletoe tree. I took a mistletoe garland and cut it apart and lightly wired the pieces onto the ivory feather tree. Originally I wanted to hang the ornaments on the tree but it seemed a little unstable so I decided to do them on hangers below instead with sparkly snowflakes. |
| Close-up of the mistletoe ornaments. One of my favorite themes this year. |
| The holly & red birds was another favorite theme of mine and this was on my family room coffee table. The antique postcard reproduction next to it with the birds was a perfect addition. |
| My very small peacock display. These are the only peacock ornaments I have. In fact I had been thinking of selling them but then I ran across these clip-on Inge Glas birds and loved them and knew I had to do some kind of a display for all of them. This was in my guest powder room. |
| An encore picture of the new gingerbread tree in the kitchen. Gingerbread is another favorite theme of mine as you can see. |
| I just put up this small grouping on my dining room table after taking down the Christmas decorations. My black chinoiserie Breens along with a few pieces from my pierced creamware collection on a black beaded table runner. Very simple but elegant looking. It's nice that all of these ornaments will stand by themselves. Makes it much easier! |
