    Springtime Tea & Chinoiserie
Year: 2008     Holiday: Spring     Shared by: Breenbaubles
Here are some photos of my new Springtime Tea & Chinoiserie display. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. The tree is the Williams Sonoma fabric covered wire tree which I've embellished by gluing pink silk cherry blossoms onto each branch. I've hung on it all of my chinoiserie and cherry blossom ornaments tied with sheer ribbon. (Although I couldn't resist adding the Giverny Santa because the colors are just perfect and it seemed to fit the mood.) I added to the display some cherry blossom design plates and a dark bamboo twig mat to add to the Asian feel. I really like how everything looks against the dark wood polished table. Eventually I'll add the Tea Pavillion and the Majestic Santas under the tree too. I've included photos of the tree from different sides to show the ornaments. I really love all the chinoiserie theme pieces--they're so elegant. Enjoy! Pam A.
